【Horikiri Luckydori Shopping Street Halloween Festival!】
The Halloween Festival of Horikiri Luckydori Shopping Street was held on Sunday, October 30. Children in cute virtual costumes visited 6 stores in the shopping street to get candy. The Halloween photo spot and gacha lottery, which adults could also enjoy, were very popular.

Halloween photo spot will also be available from October 28 (Fri.).
On October 30 (Sun.), there will be an event where children can go around the stores in the shopping arcade and get candy.

【Melon Growers’ Harvest Festival was held!】
The Melon Growers’ Harvest Festival was held on Sunday, July 31.
This year’s winner was Mr. Matsuo of Horikiri Chuo Town Council, with a size of 1,147 grams.
There were cut melon gifts, a singing event, a vegetable sales event, and for the first time this year, a “Children’s Cinema Screening,” which was enjoyed by the children.
We will continue to enliven the town through the activities of the Melon Growing Team.

The “Lucky Street Melon Growers” seedling distribution event was held in front of Sachinoba on April 24.
Seedlings were planted in planters with two layers of soil (top and bottom).
This was the seventh year for the melon-growing team, and the cultivation methods have been passed down from veteran members to younger members.
This year, Satinova’s original planters and caps with the Melon Growers’ logo were introduced!
With the addition of eight new members, the melon circle is expanding even further!

(Participants were required to take temperature and wear masks.)
The weather was a concern, but the rain cleared up in good time.

We are pleased to announce the reopening of “Umamidaidokoro Kaede” in October!
For the time being, we will be open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (alcoholic beverages will be served until 8:00 p.m.).
The menu will include sashimi, fried dishes, rice dishes, etc., according to the day’s stock.
The tatami rooms have been removed and the number of tables increased, making it easier for small groups of customers to use the restaurant.

We are planning to open a café in November in a vacant storefront on Lucky Street, where local residents can interact with each other!
The flooring and wallpaper have been replaced and it is starting to look a lot like a restaurant.
Today, volunteers from the shopping district assembled chairs and tables.
Preparations are steadily underway for the November opening.
